Yoga and Spirituality
The third eye
When speaking about the third eye, most people think of some new age concepts of various kind.
In the Yoga tradition of India and Tibet the third eye is actually a reference to one of the chakras in the human being. The chakras are centers of force, where the human being can accumulate and transmit energy from and to the universe.
Ajna, (Sanskrit for 'command') is the Chakra which is situated in the middle of the forehead of the human being. It is a center of force which corresponds to the mental levels of man and which serves as the command center. By practicing on developing Ajna Chakra the human being can grow spiritually and develop in amazing ways.
Actually, Ajna chakra is much more than that. It is a door way to another universe, so to speak. When the human being starts practicing the esoteric yoga techniques and disciplines for the development of Ajna Chakra, he or she will dive into the realm of pure mental dimensions that the average person does not even suspect possible.
It starts with the increase of intelligence and an increase in the ability of perception of the mind. And the more you practice the more it increases. The practice is usually focused on concentration techniques. The yogis teach us that the mind by it's nature is very turbulent and dynamic, and that makes for the problem. Because it negates the ability to focus it and thus gain the results above mentioned. Therefore all mind culture starts from simple techniques of concentration of the mind.

What is "Wicca"?
This path is referred to by many names, depending on whom you ask. Some call it 'the Craft', some call it Wicca, some call it Paganism, some call it Witchcraft, some call it by the generic title 'Earth-based religion', and finally, some just refer to it as their spiritual path.
Spirituality can refer to an ultimate or immaterial reality; an inner path enabling a person to discover the essence of his or her being, or the "deepest values and meanings by which people live." Spiritual practices, including meditation, prayer and contemplation, are intended to develop an individual's inner life; such practices often lead to an experience of connectedness with a larger reality: a more comprehensive self; other individuals or the human community; nature or the cosmos; or the divine realm. Spirituality is often experienced as a source of inspiration or orientation in life. It can encompass belief in immaterial realities or experiences of the immanent or transcendent nature of the world.

What are Chakras?
Locations and Vibrations of Chakras
The word 'chakra' is derived from a Sanskrit word meaning 'wheel'; but perhaps even a better translation would be spinning wheel. If you could see chakras (as many of us who work with them do) you would be able to see each primary chakra as a spinning vortex or wheel of energy; spinning inward from the front of your body towards the center point of that chakra on the kunilini and then spinning outward from that same point from your back.

Stories from A-Z
Spirituality, Spirituality and Consciousness
Nowadays it is often standard not only to add your website to a list of webpages using a short description but to write an informative story which points to your site. Also we offer you the possibility to tell your readers more about yourself thereby making a lasting impression which would be impossible by simply using a title and a short description alone.
Writing for the internet is a special challenge since most visitors of a webpage only skim through texts in order to find the information they were seeking as quickly as possible. It is therefore very important to structure your stories in a way that makes them easy to comprehend and quick to read. In this context it is helpful to start the text with a summary of its content and only then to explain more details step by step - this way the visitor of the webpage can decide after every paragraph if he already has learned enough or if he wants to read more information.
The different ideas of your story should be arranged as short paragraphs which should not be longer than 3-4 sentences. Certainly your text starts with a main heading that summarizes the content of the story, that is to the point and that is not longer than 10 words - but also subheadings should be used as additional structural elements. Furthermore important parts of the story should be written in bold or italics if they are citations. Since italic characters can be hard to read on screen alternatively citations can be highlighted using quotation marks or (as we will see later) they can be written in colour if they are especially important for your story. But please make sure that you don't overuse coloured or bold text since your story otherwise can become confusing.
All structural elements mentioned so far make it easier to quickly skim through a text and to find the information sought. For the same purpose also bulleted lists are ideal especially if you want to talk about different facts that you have to present in a structured manner. It is also true that numbered lists can enhance the overall clearness if you want to talk about a fixed number of ideas (e.g. The 10 best Methods to make your Website famous). Also images and references structure a story: Images can enhance the interest for a text further by using an informative caption and references can lead to the originator of a quotation - these citations are best marked by coloured text to make them stand out even more.
Also the stories on the page http://www.alte
usness.html were structured this way in order to allow a quick reading thereby helping the visitors of this page to easily find the information they are seeking. If you want to point to this page you can use the following information about our website and the page itself:
- Website: Our short description is "Webshop for Books about Alternative Health".
- Page: Stories and websites about "Spirituality, Spirituality and Consciousness" can be found on this page.
Well structured stories are an important possibility to make the own website more popular and to stress your personal expertise in a field of knowledge. If you take care that your visitors can skim through the content of your stories in order to find the important things they want to know you will soon gain additional guests for your website thereby increasing your reputation on the internet.
