Stress will always be a part of your life. It can happen with positive changes such as getting married, or with negative changes, such as the death of a loved one. Stress, especially negative kinds of stress, can contribute to or even cause illnesses, such as headaches, low back pain, or stomach problems.
Wellness is generally used to mean a healthy balance of the mind, body and spirit that results in an overall feeling of well-being. It has been used in the context of alternative medicine since Halbert L. Dunn, M.D., began using the phrase high level wellness in the 1950s. The modern concept of wellness did not, however, become popular until the 1970s.
The term has been defined by the Wisconsin-based National Wellness Institute as an active process of becoming aware of and making choices toward a more successful existence. This is consistent with a shift in focus away from illness in viewing human health, typical of contexts where the term wellness is used. In other words, wellness is a view of health that emphasizes the state of the entire being and its ongoing development.
The phrase can also be seen as an analogue to the medical term "homeostasis".
Wellness can also be described as "the constant, conscious pursuit of living life to its fullest potential."

Stories from A-Z
Wellness and Power, Yoga and Relaxation
Nowadays it is often standard not only to add your website to a list of webpages using a short description but to write an informative story which points to your site. Also we offer you the possibility to tell your readers more about yourself thereby making a lasting impression which would be impossible by simply using a title and a short description alone.
Writing for the internet is a special challenge since most visitors of a webpage only skim through texts in order to find the information they were seeking as quickly as possible. It is therefore very important to structure your stories in a way that makes them easy to comprehend and quick to read. In this context it is helpful to start the text with a summary of its content and only then to explain more details step by step - this way the visitor of the webpage can decide after every paragraph if he already has learned enough or if he wants to read more information.
Use short paragraphs that structure your story in single ideas - a maximum of 3-4 sentences per paragraph is ideal. Besides the main heading of the story subheadings should be used so that visitors can find the part of the text they are interested in by skimming. The headings should not be longer than 10 words and summarize the following part of the story in an informative way. Also the usage of bold and italic words offers the possibility to highlight important passages of the text. But italic characters can be hard to read on screen - if they are used to mark citations quotation marks therefore can be used as an alternative for highlighting.
All structural elements mentioned so far make it easier to quickly skim through a text and to find the information sought. For the same purpose also bulleted lists are ideal especially if you want to talk about different facts that you have to present in a structured manner. It is also true that numbered lists can enhance the overall clearness if you want to talk about a fixed number of ideas (e.g. The 10 best Methods to make your Website famous). Also images and references structure a story: Images can enhance the interest for a text further by using an informative caption and references can lead to the originator of a quotation - these citations are best marked by coloured text to make them stand out even more.
The stories on this page http://www.alte
n.html were structured like recommended and therefore invite our visitors to read them quickly and to go to the mentioned websites. This is the information about our website and this page if you want to point to it:
